In 1984, Phase 2 (now called the Townhomes) was developed. The 1849 Condo complex became, and remains, the largest and most prominent complex in the Canyon Lodge area in Mammoth Mountain and is still revered for its proximity to the slopes. In 2009, the property received an $8.5 million renovation.
1849 Condos Townhomes offer 2 to 4 bedroom homes that sleep up to 11 people, many of which have been upgraded. These homes are perfect for large families and groups. The outdoor parking provides ease of access to homes and to 1849 Condos’ 3 spas, pool, sauna, and game room (closed due to COVID restrictions). There is also coin-operated laundry available onsite. Choose from mountain, wooded, or Owens Valley views. On clear days, you can even see Crowley Lake!
Driving an electric car? No problem. 1849 Mountain Rentals offers (5) level-2 ChargePoint charging stations. During the summer, outdoor parking is available for boats and trailers.
