Nestled into the Mammoth Mountain mountainside, 1849 offers spacious, fully furnished one to five-bedroom homes with rugged mountain peaks and tree-lined views. As an added benefit, all our homes are non-smoking and do not allow pets.

Since 1984, 1849 Mountain Rentals has built its reputation on convenience and guest services. Every spacious home comes fully furnished providing a relaxing retreat for your friends and family. Prepare your morning coffee, yummy lunches, and big dinners in your fully-equipped kitchen. Gather together at your dining room table, and cozy up to a fire in your living room (firewood provided in winter). Fresh linens and towels, paper towels and toilet paper, dish soap, and toiletries are all provided.

Mammoth Legacy
1849’s dedication to guest services stems from Mammoth Lakes’ visionaries – Dave McCoy and Bob Tanner. Dave McCoy was the founder of Mammoth Mountain and former resident at 1849 Condos. Bob Tanner was Dave McCoy’s colleague and friend, who founded Bishop’s Mule Days, and was the original General Manager of 1849.
